Maybe in CA, but in this region its on par price wise. Plus its very rare to see one with the factory hood and tailgate. Both on which look repairable in the pic.

Ehh, I also have to agree that $2,650 is too much IMO/IME. Notice that the ad's already been up almost two weeks; the good deals are gone in a couple days. I think I'd probably like to be in it under $800, personally. Watch what ads disappear to see what stuff is actually selling; lots of dreamers out there thinking they are sitting on a pile of gold (that have the same ads up for months and months).

Looks like a $1500 truck MAX to me and that's because it's all there and looks to be all GMC. A lot of rust and repair panels needed. You guys know, if you can see it in pics it's pretty bad. I would like to see more pics of the 67 or 68 Camaro in the background!!!!

Yea but if you had a cheap 4wheeler to trade it could work out to be a good deal and that's just a asking price. I have bought 4 trucks of off CL for a lot less then what they were asking.

I see factory power steering setup which is worth something to some, and the GMC cab trim.

I agree that $1500 is a lot closer to what I would personally pay for it. It does have a lot of potential has a short-wide GMC. Plus it already has a V8 and manual trans. In my experience rust repair of the rockers and floor should be assumed in this area.

The GMC thing is kind of neat, but they don't seem to command any higher prices IME. Almost all of these trucks had the column shift three speed, and the engine is just a non-running beat up old 307 or something; not really worth anything. And again, a lot of these trucks have 350's in them by now. Besides, you know the small block V8's literally just bolt in place of the sixes, right? It does have the fan shroud, but that's not a big deal either.

I meant power brakes, sorry, brain fart! Windshield trim is there too...if you snagged it for like 4-500 you'd probably just break even in parts. Maybe clean it up REALLY well. after a ton of effort, little profit.

Dang I guess I over paid a little for mine then! I paid $5000 for my 63 gmc swb. One owner truck with original running 305 v6 and 3 on the tree, I figured that was the going rate for these trucks..

nope if it's what you wanted then you did not over pay, if you bought it to flip it or part it out that would be a different story, all trucks are worth what you are willing to pay.

Yeah I picked it up for my oldest boy. We are making a restoration project out of it for when he is old enough to drive.

why wait if he can turn a wrench have em help now, i had the same plans, but once i bought my 17yo son a car i only see him when either he needs money for gas...

Oh we are working on it now. He was working the wire wheel last night on the frame while I was getting everything mocked up for the triangulated 4-link.
