Here's my truck now; opinions needed pls!

I'm thinking about raising the front end up about an inch via some stock springs cut one coil. That might raise it a little more than I want though.. I would rather it sit level, but what do you all think of it? Opinions please! Remember, I'm on a TIGHT budget... I wish I would have went with taller tires in front. (more bodywork to come later) I'll start with a pic from when I first got it.

I agree as well. Or maybe lower the rear to level it out. Sorry, I like 'em low...especially long beds!

Leave it in my driveway. Issue solved

Like the others, it looks good as it. I'd save my money for other things.

Re: Here's my truck now; opinions needed pls!

How did you lower it to begin with?

It looks to me like the front wheels are angled inward at the top. I'll bet if you adjusted that back out it would look a lot better to you, and it would also raise it up slightly. Check to see if there is any room to add shims behind the upper control arms.

Either leave it alone or drop the back 1" to make it level

Well alright then, that's what I needed to hear.. THANKS ALL!

You knew I was sitting on the driveway today with a cold one just staring at it didn't you.. I had just put an HEI in it and got it running great, and sat there for over an hour looking at it...

For now I had to go the cheapie way with just springs. They came at the height to set it where it is. Eventually I want to do the spindles, or go pick up a set of 2" drop lower control arms from Charlie's like I did on my '68 years ago. That with one coil cut makes for a real nice stance and ride. I haven't priced them out yet though..

The wheels angled in really bothers me. Specially sitting and looking at them for over an hour! That's on my list of things to check out. I'm sure I can fix that with some shims.

And finally;

When I bought the springs I was told that this was the lowest I could go without modifying the panard bar or it would hit. I've had it weighted down to where it sits level and it made the 60 mile trip home with no problems.. Ultimately I'd like the back down lower.

I thought you knew the rules! You cant go back up after you drop it! If you dont like the stance you will have to drop the rear some more. It looks great but I know how it goes. Can never leave them alone for long...

They're 235/60's, but I wish I had gone with either 235/70, or maybe 255/60's in the front. I don't know though.. Once the back is down more, maybe they'll be fine. The rear are 255/60's.

Re: Here's my truck now; opinions needed pls!

I would leave it as is .... I like a bit of a rake. I would put money that I budget towards other needs. This is MHO.

I do what you do .... I bench race too much and want to do things over at the end of the day that no one else can see.

Looks great and I'm not trying to be just a nice guy here.
