Cool find

I found this 67 on a farm nearby. It turned to be quite well optioned, CST,buckets, speed minder and a few others. Talked to the guy about it, but won't sell. So I took some crappy cell phone pics for ya. I tried to get a pic of the spid, but my cell phone wouldn't pic it up.

Re: Cool find

Most likely he's waiting on a Barret Jackson offer or it's possible that he will fix it up but sadly most trucks sitting in the fields end up wasting away. Good intentions kill more of our trucks than anything else.

Good intentions on his part, but it will probably never be restored. Great parts on there. Dust to Dust and Rust to Rust. Keep bugging him, ya never know! Nice find

Re: Cool find

I have found a few of those nearby, & also a no go on selling them. Trees growing thru the grill, etcetc. It just pisses me off to let a classic truck rust away rather than have someone get it on the road. But, wait, maybe i am missing something? Should i park one of mine & sit on the porch & watch it disintergtate? Is this better than sipping Rebel Yell, or should i do that and watch it rust?

Re: Cool find

He does have plans for it, problem is he has about three major projects in front of it. So I do have a bad feeling it will be sitting for a long time. Now that I know where it is at and know the guy pretty well, we'll have to see what happens.

Re: Cool find

I dont understand people sometimes they rather let it die out or I should say rot out than let someone bring it back to life...

Re: Cool find

Cash and trailer either x3...

But if that doesn't work my personal tactic is to leave a note or business card on the dash with your information and let the owner know it's there. If he ever has second thoughts, you're up to bat.

Good idea...just go back every month or two and say if...you ever decide to sell you would like to purchase it so you could restore it. Give him your name or number. You might also offer to give him sources on where to buy parts should he want to fix it up. This could help break the ice. Good Luck.

Re: Cool find

ya just like the 66 SS impala sitting in my dads barn along with the short bed 2wd 67-72 chevy and 3/4 ton long bed that are rotting away. dads answer is always IM GONNA RESTORE THEM SOME DAY. the short bed had a AWESOME front clip and decent bed when i last saw it 10yrs ago. the impala was starting to rot away. the 3/4 ton is done but prob. still a good chassis under it. my bro wrecked it YEARS AGO and they never fixed it. they have all been sitting inthe barn for YEARS now.
