Here's my 69' w/ a 68' front clip.

Current mods in progress:

front spring swap to 3 inch drop spring
leafs to t-arms swap (currently frame is on the rear axle) bag it or 5" drop coil??
column swap from 3 on the tree to automatic
relocate gas tank to under the bed

Andrewt 2 I made the bed cover out of plywood and some vinyl that i bought from a upholstery company. I will get some more pictures this afternoon. It was real simple to make,did not take but a few hours to build.

I love the look of the 67-72 Stepsides, well actually I like the look of all the old Chevy trucks, but the 67-72 stepsides are my favorite because I have my grandfathers 68 short step that he bought brand new from the local Chevy dealership. Unfortunately one of those import tuner cars ran into it several years ago and it's been sitting since then. Seeing these pics makes me want to get started on it so much. Now if only I had the money.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
