tune up spark plug wires

i got my 84 running pretty good just need to do a tune up on it was just wondering what wires you all use mine has a separate coil so i would need a set with that extra wire also i have seen jegs and summit got their own house name brand are they any good thank you

if you have a seperate coil wire than you have a oints distributor on an 84??? that is definately not stock.. but i have Accel wires on mine

I'm using JEGS 8mm wires. Haven't had any problem with them.

yea is a 383 block believe is off 95 and vortec heads so if i got a point distributor is that better then a hei or would ya leave it like that with the coil and THEAPOCALYPTIAN do you got the extra coil and did that jegs name brand come with that extra wire and do you got a part number

maybe it is a aftermarket external coil?.....my plug wires...

Belden cables are the only ones I have found to be reliable. You can get them from NAPA (their brand is Belden). Pricey but worth it.

Hard to beat the MSD cut to fit plug wires. They are a little pricey at 90 bucks a set but they work good and last a long time. If you are into restoring cars or trucks buying the crimping tool is well worth it!
