My 1952 truck.
I had a 1950 when I was a youngster and sold it for $50.00 after the block cracked. I always regretted that and then last year I bought this 1952 and have been working on it when i get time. Wow, can these things suck up money!

Re: My 1952 truck.
Thanks xpickup,
I am going to change the air conditiong vents as I do not like them where they are anymore, but to install the Impala dash was really quite easy. I was going to put a 55 Belair dash in but a buddy talked me out of it.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Very nice fab work. A lot of times old and new when it comes to interiors tend to look misplaced...Not the case with yours..
Keep up the good work Marc

Re: My 1952 truck.
Thanks Marc. Sure wish I could figure out how to take off those headrests! Pushing the little button does not seem to work. Might have to go a little Magnus Ver Magnusson on them. BTW, your truck is awesome.

SSABMUD, That looks great. The console and dash really flow together. Great job. Keep the pictures flowing.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Thanks Shannon. I changed the seats three times and the console twice because they just did not work with the dash. After the fibreglass work is done, the whole interior will work even better. Need to move the AC vents again, and the brake pedal sucks. I just hope I don't screw it up.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Thanks, when the cat is away, the mice will play. I have so many little things to do on mock up before taking it apart and starting on the frame. The snow will be flying up here in a couple months and I have a new sled coming along with a turbo kit that needs to be put on. Maybe that will take my mind off the truck for awhile. Doubt it.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Finally was able to work on my truck a bit this weekend. Got the fuel tank mounted, the air conditioning vents removed from the dash, and the the running boards shortened and mounted backwards for the wider rear fenders.

Re: My 1952 truck.
I ruptured a disc in my back where all the fluid ran into my spine about four months ago. I have been taking it pretty slow but have finally recovered enough to start back on the truck last week. You know how you stare at something you did for a long time then decide to change it? That is what I have been doing. I will get some pictures up soon. Wade

Re: My 1952 truck.
I am absolutely in love with this. Looks real good, man. Are the rear fenders fiberglass or steel? And who makes them? Thanks.
