1972 Chevy C10 Custome Deluxe
What's up guys? After about a year of selling my 1969 chevy c10 my father and I finally bought another truck. It's a 1972 Chevy C10 custom deluxe with a 350, auto tranny, and some rust issues (rocker panels, cab corners, some holes in the floor pan, and a few others). We're learning to weld and we've ordered a lot of the replacement metal to put in. The entire exhaust system is rusted out and we're replacing that in august. We'll eventually put in another engine and a 700r4 tranny. I'll keep this thread updated with the work we do on it.

Will do. We're gonna end up either rebuilding the 350 or just dropping a 400 small block in it. We found an entire header/exhaust system for $320 from summit racing that we're gonna put it when we have money. When we get started on the welding and replacing a few other things, I'll update this.

Re: 1972 Chevy C10 Custome Deluxe
So we finally got around to cutting out the metal for the rockers and the cab corners and found out we needed cab supports and a few other things so until everything gets here which should be next weekend, we're gonna start cutting the rest of it out and welding in new metal but for now we're gonna work on the mechanical problems (replacing the tranny lines, brake lines, brakes, putting in a new exhaust system, moving the tank to the bed, replacing some wiring, and bushings). We're ordering an exhaust system, gas tank conversion, and wiring when we have the money for it next month so that's what's gonna be put in hopefully by the end of August.

Re: 1972 Chevy C10 Custome Deluxe
Sorry for the triple post, I'm trying to upload pictures from a phone and it's not working out so well. I'll take care of the pictures after I get home tonight.
