wheel bolt pattern change?

i went wheel shopping today planning on ordering something. didn't happen. the only thing we came up with with the right size and back space are torque thrust IIs. i like torque thrust wheels as much as the next guy, but, was hoping to do something a little different. if i could change the bolt pattern to 4 3/4 the whole world would open up.

the rears axles could be drilled to the new pattern easy enough. the front, though. is a different story. i'm thinking there very well could be a brake rotor out there that would fit the truck and have the right pattern. anyone done this?

i'm not going to use adapters. the size i was concidering is 20x10 with 5" back space and 18x8 with 4" back space. the wheels i was looking at are actually the rev classic that looks just like the torque thrust II.

the guy quoted me $1650 mounted, balanced out the door. not too bad. i concidered coys, then i saw too many horror storys about guys not getting thier wheels.

the wheel i really like is the american eagle 225. 6 weeks back order. damn.

oh yea, mine is a 72 short fleet. 5" rear spring and about 4.5 total on the front.

Awesome looking truck man. I know the aftermarket company's offer the rotors you want. Try cpp or pol. I got the 5 lug from ECE but not sure if they offer 4.75.

Where's some more pics of your truck? I looked through some of your post but this was the only pic I saw? I must not be a good stalker. Show us some more with details. What size tires and wheels are on it now? I saw someone from JDWheels back in Nov at Moultrie. I know they travel the show circuit.

i havn't posted many. heres some. blue is where i started. thats after i lowered it and made the hood scoop. started as a scuff and paint. i bought the truck to drive to work everyday. well, my buddy was helping me get it ready to paint and he said" you know, these window gaskets are only 35 bucks, we should take the windows out". hhmmm, well, here we are two years later.

Re: wheel bolt pattern change?

Great looking truck! I have the REV Classic 100's on mine. They are a great wheel for the money. They only had a couple of backspacing options when I bought mine a couple years ago. They would look sharp on your truck.
