WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

GMC Paul's ran out of the silver ones and I thought I'd go fishing here first. I need about 25 of them.

Thanks!

Are you wanting new or good used? I have quite a few but they are used. I would have to check and see if I have that many good ones.

Re: WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

Well...I might be open to used ones IF they are in very good condition.
I can PM you an email address if you want to send me some close up pictures of what you have.

Appreciate it!

Like I said, I have quite a few. Unfortunately most of them are gold colored and are driver quality.....

Re: WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

Thanks for the pic and I see what you mean.
But where do those big plugs go?? Didn't realize I needed those as well!

I took one of the black plugs - hit it with 1,000g sandpaper, paint prep cleaned it then spray painted it with plastic model aluminum and wow - identical color to the original silver ones! So...I'm going to paint the black ones I have.

But I'm interested in the big plugs if I need them!

Re: WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

Edit to my last post -

What I didn't realize while comparing the colors after painting the black plug was how much larger the black plugs are compared to the oem silver plugs!

Okay, I might be interest in 25 of your very best plugs. I know now I have a paint for plastic that is a ringer - color wise - with the oem plugs.

So let me know if you have 25 physically nice ones that I can paint.

And also the big plugs if I actually need a few of those.

Thanks again!

Re: WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

Doc,

I'm assuming you have the same size as the oem (silver in the pic)?
I'll take 25 of your very best! I can clean them up and paint them to match.

Thanks again!

I still have them laying out and I will check them out in the morning. I had to make a 200 mile trip today to pick up two overhead doors so I didn't get on the board 'till just a while ago.

I have 25 picked out. They are the same size as your small silver round one. I don't remember where the oval ones went, maybe in the passenger side "B" pillar where the hinge access holes are. You will have to check. I have 4 good ones of those.

These things are like belly buttons, some are innies, some are outies, and some are flat.... I tried to pick out the flattest ones.

Let me know if you need any oval ones and I will shoot you a price.

Re: WTB - Silver Plastic Access Plugs

Need help on these. These are new to me.

These are door access plugs?
Used anywhere else?
How many do I need for a 72 GMC Jimmy?
Would appreciate education.
Thanks!

Hi Terry,

Yes, access plugs. They are used in different places depending on the vehicle. Suburbans use the most. I am not familiar with the Blazers & Jimmys so I can't help you there. You might ask on the Blazers & Jimmy message board.
