Why do I like 69-70 Trucks best?
Why do I like the 70 model year?
1) I own one. 2) I guess I like 69 and 70 because we're not to cold 67-68 and we're not to hot 71-72...We're just right 69-70 HEHEHE Ok...Who said we have to be sane to own and drive a 67-72 Chevy/GMC Truck. We're all one big happy family!!!

Well, if I had my choice, I would have a '72 for the disc brakes, and options, but it would have to have the 69-70 grill. My .02.

I like my 70 because when it was new I was 16 and when I drive her I feel 16. Someone mentioned options, I have all options except tilt and one day I shall have that too + a big block, man I cant wait for that one. You dont have to have a 72 to get options.

Yea, I know you don't have to have a '72 to get options, I guess what I meant to say is that it seems easier to find '72s with options than 69-70s. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my '70 for anything.

I dont know why but 69-70 is my least favorite grille(but i still like tem)my absolute fav is 67-8 nose then the 67-71 GMC grilles.dont like th 72 grille much with its center stripe, but my favorite one is the chrome 67 one that says GMC in the middle of it,im probably the only one here that favors that one.

Because every kid and his dog has a 71 or 72. And that same kid and dog wants the 67 or 68 front end on it. I like being different and don't see as many 69's or 70's on the road around here. Plus my fathers first new truck was a 69 Chevy and they just grew on me.

I've had all three. 67 is my fav.since I was a little kid. I drive a 71 everyday. I must admit that the 69-70 is second except for a absolutely perfect 71-2 grille. I don't care really they are all beauties in my opinion.

Ya gotta love that big wide bar of the 69-70 grill. makes the truck look tough. everybody has a 71 or 72 but don't see many 69-70's. Wouldn't trade mine for the world.

The 67-72 trucks were simply the best looking trucks ever made.
I always preferred the 69-70's myself but I wouldn't turn my nose up at the other years either. These are "real" trucks made with real American steel, not recycled Clorox jugs! These are trucks that real men drive, not an SUV with everything but a power dildo! (for the ladies of course) LOL I'll be driving my old Chevy's until I head to that great junkyard in the sky. And if I can find a way, im taking them with me! ------------------ 63 Impala*66 Chevelle SS*69 Chevelle*69 C10 Stepside*71 Cheyenne 20*72 Chevelle Parts for sale: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/mr409/items4sale.html

I'm kind of suprised you guys see so many 71-71 trucks compared to the other years. I know that within 3 blocks of my house there is 1 67-68 truck, 5 69-70 trucks and only 1 71-72 trucks. Hopefully there will be one more added to the 72 catagory before much longer, as in mine. lol
I will say that I like the grills on the 69-70 trucks the best. But for the most part they all look good. |

Unfortunately crew70, there isn't a one of them for sale. I do have to say that my neighborhood is pretty rare concerning these trucks. I doubt many other people have that many trucks within 3 block of their house, and not own 1 of them.
btw, you can add two more to the 67-68 list. I forgot the two guys that keep theirs in the garage. |
