Is there a way
Wondering if there is a way to take out the tail light buckets from inside the bed without cutting up the bed itself. Is it possible or not?

Re: Is there a way
Not sure I understand the question. The tail light buckets come out on the outside.

Re: Is there a way
I did it less than a week ago and just took the two screws out of the plate and pulled them through the cut out in the bed side. It was a tight fit but tape on the bodywork and a little prying with a pocket screwdriver and they were out.

I should be able to post pics early next week if you don't get it before then. It's all apart right now.

Re: Is there a way
Sorry it took me a week, the truck is at my dad's house.
Take out the two screws in the housing out, then I gently pried on the bottom and pulled it out at an angle. Then I had enough room to get my fingers under the bottom of it It comes out, just barely in the cut out for it Then I unplugged the wiring to the bulb. End result. Hope that clears it up for you... |

Re: Is there a way
I took mine out so I could weld over the chrome strip holes so I didn't have to have the chrome around the lights
