Sat pics (12-1) Yeah I've got more!

Wow! After posting several hundred pics last week it's kinda hard to come up with something for you guys this week! So go easy on me fellas. I talked Chuckles in to dragging his stepper out and letting me shoot a few pics of it today. Let me know what you guys think!

I have enjoyed the photos! I'd put my trucks out there for ya too if you come up this way anytime. But, I don't think they are worthy. Great job man!

That's OK, Most of the trucks I shoot are Worthless!

I also shot this moron driving down the interstate with a cab full of balloons.

We also finally stopped and asked about this one today.

It was a factory wood floor fleetside truck. The same guy had owned it for over 20 years. He told us we could take it home with us for $500. It just seemed way to rough to me for that kinda cash. It did have a pretty nice tailgate with it though.

these were taken at a local cemetary in lafayette. some of the graves were marked unknown soldiers. and it was a section for the civil war vets

Wow I woulda been all over that too for $500! That doesn't even look bad compared to some of the trucks I have seen up here in Ontario! I am lookin for a truck like that for my next project after I get my 79 1 ton done. If only I could afford a trip down there to grab 'er!

I'll second that... Awesome pics. How are you doing the "double exposures"? Are you taking 2 pictures and merging them in photoshop or are they actually a double exposure on the camera. I love them regardless.

C10-Driver,
I think he does it by time lapse. Start the pic with the hood up and then put it down part way through the exposure.

You are correct! The pic with the 59 and the 72 in the same pic was simply a reflection in the glass. The see through hood shots are time lapse shots.

Re: Sat pics (12-1) Yeah I've got more!

Thanks guys! I don't have any more pics of the 59 but I would like to take some if I get the opportunity. Believe me when I tell you guys that the $500 truck was overpriced. Both of the bedsides had rust holes above and around the wheel wells. Both of the doors were shot as well as the corners and rockers. There are rustholes above the windshield on the inside of the cab. Yeah, the tailgate seemed to be way nice compared to the rest of the truck but he didn't want to sell it seperate. Not to mention that the seller didn't know where the title was. He had owned this truck for 20+ years and even showed us a pic of it from back in the day when it was super sharp. He told us he had lived somewhere up north for three or four years which caused all the rust on the pickup. He said he gave the keys and the title to his son when he turned 16 and the boy didn't want it. I think he said that was over ten years ago and the truck hasn't been driven since. Kinda sad isn't it? I've got his # if anyone wants it but I really believe that it's not worth fixing.
