Motor Mount Help!
Ok,
1966 C10 had a 283 installing a 350, 4 speed using the original bell housing and crossmember. Here are the mounts I removed from the truck that look pretty beat up and have missing material where the motor mounts bolt runs thru so I figured I would replace them. Here are the mounts I received but I believe the right side will not work for my application. Looks like one for an I6 application. Should I try to repair my originals or look for another mount to replace the 'shorter' one?? Advice....

Re: Motor Mount Help!
The I6 mounts will work. I just pulled out the 230 and slapped a 350 with a 4speed in my 65. Used original I6 mounts in the factory location and bell housing mounts. I got a lot of guidance from some good folks here and It went in just fine.
Although, those do look like two different mounts, mine were identical I believe |

Re: Motor Mount Help!
Why not just use the original mounts you removed?

Re: Motor Mount Help!
They are cut up a little and here is material missing in the pad area. I was thinking of welding it up and adding metal there.
Are these side specific?

Re: Motor Mount Help!
If I remember correct, in pic 1. The left one is driver side and the right one is pass side. I believe the " notch" sticks towards the radiator.
I can double check tonight if need be.
