the triangular pieces are core support braces and go on the back side of the rad support next to the fender

Pretty sure that's intended to be part of a spare tire mount, but I it has to go for a rear fuel tank. No harm, No foul!
Took mine out and with new exhaust, moved the mufflers back there. (Work-in-Process)

Yup...Part of the spare tire mount...Yup, it has to be removed to install a rear gas tank. It's riveted to the frame to keep the spare tire from floppin' around. I used mine to build an oil cooler mount.

Re: Help! What are these parts and where do they go!

Just now had time to check my post in a few days, Thanks c1069 for the picture on the flat channel support! Pickupman I also thought that the small triangle pieces are for the rear parking brake cables for my cables are not hooked up and I am missing some parts for the parking brake setup and the cables out of the brake drums are just hanging down. Anybody have a picture on where and how they are mounted on a GMC maybe same on the Chevy's? Thanks again guys, Robert

Re: Help! What are these parts and where do they go!

The brackets are riveted to the underside of the frame as shown in the attached pictures. The brackets are adjacent to the front spring mount. The frame that I took the pictures of is upside down but the pictures are labeled correctly.
