Side markers / molding

My front (yellow) side moldings flash with the turn signals. My rear (red) ones don't. Is this correct, or did I screw something up?
Also, someone had a question about the side molding clips. I'd like to respond, but I can't find the initial post. Was bouncing around between the Paint & Body / 67 -72 / and General lists.
Thanks

Some of the trucks had blinking front markers, and some were steady burning. There seems to be no continuity on that. I've had 2 '70 trucks, one blinked, one doesn't.
As for the rear, they never blinked.

Mine blink, i think the blinking and non blinking thing might be a combination of age and amituerish wiring
but who can say because all the trucks are mor than 30 years old now

The front markers on my 72 flash with the turn signals (back doesn't). Now for something strange; when the lights are off, the markers flash in unison with the turn signals. When the lights are turned on, the side markers flash when the turn signals flash off and vise-versa. Is this a wiring gremlin or does anyone else have a truck that does this?

they are supposed to do that . Its just an illusion because the front park lights are always on when the lights are on. All 73-87 do the same thing, kinda looks cool
