power steering
Hi there.
I have a 1971 2WD C-10 with a 350 engine and manual steering. I want to convert it to power steering and was wondering what kind of steeringboxes would fit on my car? I mean could i use a steeringbox from a caprice or a suburban or something like that because the original parts are verry hard to get here in The Netherlands. ***Editted by Moderator*** Thanks so far. Re: power steering
Welcome to the board from South Mississippi. I'm sorry for editing your thread but board rules are buying and selling only on the Parts Board.
You should be able to use the power steering off of the 73-87 pickups (you will have to adapt the hoses on models after about 80 cuz the fittings are different) or up to 91 Suburbans (I think).
