I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

I picked up a 67 long bed, 1 owner farm truck, 97k miles, runs and drives great, all original. I also picked up a 68 anniversary that had been sitting for a while. Im gathering up parts for my next build. Just thought I would share some pics of them.

Is there anything that tells you that the 68 is an "Anniversary" or is it any 68 is one?

Re: I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

Nice trucks, looks like the 50th has been converted to 5 lug already
Which one are you building ? Or are they both just for extra parts ?

Re: I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

how come the 67 doesn't have a small rear window? I thought all 67's came with the small window in the back...

Re: I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

That's wicked! How come they did that? Did they do it a lot? Are the 67's with the small back windows pretty rare then?

Its prob the other way round, Big Back Window was an option in 1967.
All came standard with a small rear window.

Re: I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

Im not sure which one G.M made more of ( small or big back window 67's ). Im sure someone on here probably knows.

I think the 67 is gonna be my next build, short frame stepside, I will probably leave the 283 and powerglide in it, It really runs well. I will probably end up selling the anniversary 68.

Re: I Picked up a couple of farm trucks

I really like the '67. Did you buy it from the wrecking yard? If so its sad that it was there in the first place. Nice score.

No, I actually bought the 67 off of craigslist, $900 and drove it home. The wrecking yard in the background pics Is what I do for a living, I own A&B auto salvage in Tulsa.
