Exclamation Lokar Throttle & TV Cable Need install help

I need to order my tv cable for my 700r4, I found that bracket that i will use. Also found the tv cable. Now i am having a hard time understanding which throttle cable to order. I need to know what length to order and how to install. I sure hope i dont have to drill a new hole in my firewall just to install the cable or does it have some sort of washer that will fit the stock hole. Any one on here have one installed is it a fairly easy install. Any help appreciated thanks

Re: Lokar Throttle & TV Cable Need install help

I'm almost certain the throttle cable just goes through a grommet in the firewall. Installation should be a breeze....

Re: Lokar Throttle & TV Cable Need install help

The factory one has the grommet built on the cable that snaps into the firewall.

Re: Lokar Throttle & TV Cable Need install help

I just went to NAPA and ordered the cable for my truck. I went home, ripped the old one out and put the new one in. The hole in the firewall is square, and the cable has a square plastic piece made on it that snaps in the hole. No muss, no fuss.

i just order a Lokar throttle cable and got it yesterday i order xtc-1000ht its 24" but you cut it to fit its really eazy, and for the square hole i used two s.s flat washers one on each side, because the lokar needs a round hole, I can post some pics tomarrow if you want
