I'll have to let Vince or somebody identify everybody, I'm terrible with names.

I'll be out there. Had a great time today. Good to put a face with the screen names. Extra thanks to Vince and family and Sinister for thinking about getting the group shot. By the way I'm Chuck, the one in the tan cap. See you at Brothers.

Re: Smoke House BBQ Board Meet, L.A., CA.

Im Vince, the one in the checker shirt. I plan on making the drive to the show. Im pulling the heads off my truck to change the gaskets, (dont tell the wife) so if I get that done before the show I will drive my truck.
Sin thanks for the pictures, like you im bad with name. I usually have a
sign-in sheet to help me. But I was running late so did not take the time to look for it.

That bbq was great! If you weren't there, you missed some great food, and some cool trucks. Thanx again VDOG.

Re: Smoke House BBQ Board Meet, L.A., CA.

It was nice to get together and appreciate Vince for putting it together and Sin for the pics. BBQ was great BTW. It was a long drive but I got to exercise the new 12" subs I installed under the seat a while back. Now if I can just get my hearing back. . . Doug (Middle, white shirt.)

Thats a nice Blazer! We had one in our group, 2wheel drive, lowered, on rims and tires, very nice. What are you plans for the truck?

Re: Smoke House BBQ Board Meet, L.A., CA.

I just picked up a compressor and a lincoln mig and plan to fix the rust and get it back in solid shape. I'll probably do a new Yukon buckets/third row seat setup and new carpets. My gauges need attention and I'm playing around with the color scheme. I'm really liking the flat white, but might go with color. Maybe a metallic burnt orange or chocolate brown... Maybe Chevy orange...

My truck is the lone green one lowered, with the black rallyes. I have a ton of rust also, but never used any kind of welder before. Not sure if I want to try.

Re: Smoke House BBQ Board Meet, L.A., CA.

Mine still smell like bbq...gotta love it! If there is another meet at this place, you can bet I will be there.

All the trucks were looking good. Doug's and Chuck's SWB 4x4's really got me wanting one of those now!

Talking with everyone and what they plan to do with their rides is great. Gives you a lot of ideas and motivates you to keep on going.

You guys are killing me!

Feel free to go back, my friends name is Robert. We are invited back, but I know some of us drive a bit farther than we want, so if one of you want to have a meet thats closer to you, then post it. I remember last year, Doug, (blue and white 4x4) tried to meet for breakfast before heading to Brothers Truck Show, but I think his post went to a different SoCal post.

I have it on my calender to be there, but my burb will not be there with me.

I have my interior all apart, and my steering box is not safe for the drive.

Re: Smoke House BBQ Board Meet, L.A., CA.

I am still working on a shift swap with a co-worker. If that comes through, I will be there. I will be taking my ochre 72 C/20 (pictured above). It is still "under reconstruction", but the original A/C blows colder than any vehicle that I have ever owned so at least I will be comfy!

Are you going Sin?

Vectorit- My interior is apart right now too. I need to re-finish the door panels and get some carpet.

I plan on going, I also will be at the Pick a part this weekend for the Half Price Sale this Fri, Sat, Sun, to find a bedside. I picked up a roll of carpet from Kragen last year. Its a cut to fit, but I have not installed it yet.
