Trick Window?

Does anyone sell glass and stripping to remove the stock vent window? That bar is always in he way of my side view mirror. It's got to be out there because the vent window just bolts out.

There are kits to install one piece windows.I don't know the web addy but it's been posted here before so you might try a search.I have heard that they are a pain to align and I have also heard they were a piece of cake to install and get working.Good luck.

the only problem i could guess is that because the track moves slightly forwards as it goes down it might not clear properly on the frond of the door... but there seems to be quite a bit of space up there. The regulator would not have to be messed with i dont think... just cut out the cross link between the two sides of the door, fit in the scrappers and redo the ridge felts and you're done. I just dont know how to make the scrappers work or cut the glass.

it's a non-tach dash... not worth a cent i guess. a new one costs 400 bucks. I need to look at it again to see how it looks. There are no scratches or missing paint. It has all guages working, no rust on the green. The plastic front is clear the bezel is black with silver trim. all factory paint and stuff tho.
