Seat cover replacement (today's stupid question)

I have a 69. . . . I'm about to (finally) get started on the interrior. I've been looking at the replacement seat covers from LMC. The one I really like and will look good in 'THOR' is from 1972 (granddaughter named the truck after hearing it fire up the first time ) The color combo is perfect and it will save me money putting it in myself. I don't see why the '72' wouldn't fit? I'm assuming the year designation is about style, not function?

I could be wrong but I think they are the same size so you should be ok.

Re: Seat cover replacement (today's stupid question)

did you take a picture of what you want to the local upholstery shop and see what they'd charge for making up and installing something similar// i've found lots of times they're cheaper custom made and installed than the cost of "factory correct" covers that you need to install yourself

There are a couple of different styles of seats but I don't know for sure what created the difference, whether it was different years, different assembly plants, or different seat manufacturers. The seat adjusters are different on them too.
