My new SWB 4x4
Jay_shy requested I post a few more pics of the truck I brought home last weekend. Engine is untouched with 118,000 original miles. Still has the smog pump working as it is an original California truck. Interior is really clean with new carpet, and seat reupholstered. New paint 3 years ago, and holding up real good. Runs like a champ and everything is still very tight. I put my ralleys off the Super on it because it came with studded tires. I think I like the white steel wheels with chrome dog dishes better though. I just need to buy some new tires. Noisy trip home listening to those for 10 hrs.

That is a FINE looking truck there my friend. Very nice to see an original ride holding up so well. I agree, the Ralley's look fantastic.

Great looking truck!
I gotta give another vote for the Rallys. but I'm bias! I have the same wheels on 3 of my trucks, including my 2000 Z71!

Oh Man! Keep the stock wheels, dog dish hub caps, get some new rubber and for just a little bling throw some trim rings on it and it will look sweet!

That's sweet bro! There's not a lot of swb 4x4s left out there. There's even fewer that still look that nice.

Re: My new SWB 4x4
Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open for another set of Ralleys because my other truck already misses them. Think I will still do up a nice set of originals like roger0080. Check his out.

Re: My new SWB 4x4
it does look sweet, only thing i would change is the rear bumper, i think it would look really nice with a sport bumper in back.
congrats on an awesome find.

Re: My new SWB 4x4
Put the rubber thats on the ralleys on the steel wheels. Then that thing will be perfect. This is one of our trucks with that combo. Just think how great that would look on a finished truck like yours....OH and white letters in with the white steelies.
Beautiful truck no matter how you run it. |
