Sub_burb
Well it's been a while since I have posted and I promised updates on my burb project. It was interupted by the re aquisition of my BBW from Dino. I got the truck back about like I gave it to him but with the baby blue paint and a new front window. Three weeks later it was put back together sans a new 5 speed and I was driving it almost daily.

Re: Sub_burb
I,ll save you the boredom of the instalation of the Porterbuilt crossmember and rear notches and just post a current pic or two.
P.S. Don't go out and purchase a set of these wheels untill you read this post. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...63#post3616863.

Re: Sub_burb
Thanks Tony and 816allen.
Sorry Tony I just didnt take any pics of the install and my rear notches are just 5" pipe. As for the paint it is a flattened Omni baby blue dino had matched to a toy he had. I have the recipt somewhere but no codes are on it.

Re: Sub_burb
Also had to do a hinge mod for the hood that works quite well. I will be adding a support and fully box for a final result. It clears the tire when deflated by about half an inch (20" wheel)

Re: Sub_burb
These worked until I put strong arms on allowing the truck to lay an inch and half lower then I went with Porters new hinge kit to clear everything, thier super slick and there are absolutly no clearance issues , well worth the money!
