Drum Upgrades?
I seem to remember ECE or someone offering upgraded drum packages. One package for the front. One for the year. Now I can only seem to find the rear drum upgrade package.
Is there an appreciable difference in braking performance/characteristics with these drum upgrade packages? I already have assisted drums on my '68. Just weighing options between upgrades or disc conversion. |

Re: Drum Upgrades?
While I have no input regarding the drum kits, it is my opinion that if you are going to do an upgrade, go with disc tech.
Drums are fine and all, but why upgrade them? Ultra high end builds sometimes hide disc brakes inside drums so they have the best of both worlds: original looks with modern performance. Unless you want to keep it original-ish, go with disc brakes. -klb
