Does anyone know where I can get hood stiffening pads for a 67 gmc hood?

I've seen people spray that expandable foam between the hood and hood supports.

Just about all our vendors carry them. I got some from Classic Industries, but try Brother's or GMC Pauls. Lots of sources.

From personal experience - DO NOT use the expanding foam on the bottom of the hood...
I have that on my Blazer right now - looks like crap and it difficult to get off. |

Word of caution. Be extremely careful when prying between the hood and the metal brace to slip the pad in. The top of the hood can be easily bent. Also, unless you need them, don't replace the ones in the very front of the hood. That's harder to pry apart.
I used a wide wooden wedge shaped piece to slowly and carefuly tap and pry the area just wide enough to slip the pad in -the second time I did it.

My pads are to thin. I have new ones, but the space is to wide for my new pads. Is it ok to glue them?
