I changed out my volt, oil and temp gauges this weekend, I went with the Sunpro brand, I also installed an RPM gauge.

The truck was running when I took the Pics.

Looks great! The PO of my truck used the same sun-pro tach and put it in the same place, but he didnt do near as good as job as you.

Ive go the same tack also, Looks slick and fits like it was made to go there, id like more info on your other gauges please.

Hey JCA1972 Got a question about pulling the guage bazel.do you have to drop the steering colum to get bazel off?i just picked up a 68 short step side,and po had bought one and never installed. thanks Bobby

Nope, just the bracket that holds the steering column gromett and then the screws around the benzel. Also need to pull the cable, oil pressure line and unplug the wiring.

You shouldnt have to but it helps if you drop it a little, I had to drop mine because I have my steering coulmn pushed in about 3".

I'm gonna do that too - how long did it take you? did you re-wire it, or did you use the existing wiring? Looks really nice.

I used all the new wires that came with the gauges it was easier than i tought. the hardest part was cuting the holes on the plexi glass, it breaks pretty easy. you can do it in a few hours.

non tach panels will come out with some work, but loosening the column at the top will help. Tach panels need to be loosened though. I normally remove the nut on one side of the column but not on the other. Drops it enough without flopping it into your lap.
