Reworkign the Longhorn web site
Starting over again.
I'm not happy with the crappy set up of the free-servers sites. I guess I'm going back with geo-sh!tties for now. It is going slow (like always) but there is a little there if you are interested in looking. And if you have a longhorn and have not sent me pics...or you have sent me pics and my unorganized @ss lost them, here is your chance to get your truck on there. http://www.geocities.com/longhorntrucks/ |

You're a brave man Andy, with too much time on your hands...LOL! I have only one pic on your site...some day I am going to own that yellow '68 original Longhorn...time to check on it again. I am holding out for a 50th Anniversary LH. Then I am going to conver it to a 4x4...as long as it isn't too perfect already.

Lookin good Andy. Websites do take some time to set up, but keeping them updated is fairly easy. I change stuff around on mine all the time.

I should be getting mine out of the shop this week and I will post pictures for you. I can't wait I didn't have the time or place to tear it apart so I sent it out been 6 months.

i did the same thing. im at http://www.newbiesite.com
they are a bit more technical, you have to understand what you are doing. but, no adds, great help desk and your own domain name. not to mention, you can make chattrooms, web boards like this one email accounts.. all for about 15 bucks a year i had one all done, then scrapped it, starting over too i have just the bare start up now. mtdave2.com.

With Geo-Cities I can get my own domain and e-mail accounts and no adds...I just have to pay. I'm trying to talk the little lady into coming off of some of the cash...but she is right...it's not something I NEED.
Bloo, thanks for pointing that out...I noticed it last night and have not gotten around to it yet. |
