'62 / '63 Horn Cap F/S
Not for sure about the years, think that is correct. Cap is nice with very slight pitting, rubber mount ring is good. $10 plus shipping

Am I correct on the '62-'63 years for horn cap style? Anybody for $10 shipped lower 48?

Re: '62 / '63 Horn Cap F/S
Your item is correct for the '60-'65 Chevy standard steering wheel horn button. The horn button for the '66 was slightly different and there was also a custom chrome horn ring available for the '60-'65 and the custom horn ring for the '66 was slightly different.
The first picture is of a '60-'65 custom steering wheel and horn ring assembly. The second picture is of a '66 custom steering wheel and horn ring assembly. The third picture is of a '60-'65 standard steering wheel and horn button like yours. Good luck with the sale. Last edited by LILRED66; 11-11-2008 at 02:29 AM. |

Re: '62 / '63 Horn Cap F/S
Can this be used on a 66 wheel like the 65 wheel shown in the third pic?
Thanks. Scott

Re: '62 / '63 Horn Cap F/S
ScottH, I honestly can't tell you for sure. Seems to have been more wheel options/horn caps/rings then. I'm more informed about the 67-72 trucks since that is what I currently have and restored. Perhaps some one with more expertise in the 60-66 years can help.

Re: '62 / '63 Horn Cap F/S
Scott the standard wheel and horn button on the '66 had a slightly larger hub and different style horn button than the '60-'65, but I believe it will fit, however it does not cover as much of the hub.
