Re: I hate fingerprints...
Sometimes the glass cleaner isn't as important as what you are using to wipe the windows with. Try wadding up some newspaper and using it to wipe those windows down next time. The newspaper doesn't streak nor will it leave lint.

Re: I hate fingerprints...
I've use a bunch of different cleaners and didn't notice much difference in any of them. I think the towel is more important than the cleaner. If the windows aren't really dirty then water and a good towel work just as well as anything.
Walmart stocks a 2 pack Ultra Fine Waffle Weave Micro Fiber towels that work great for windows the brand is mainSTAYS. At $3 for the pair it's a good buy. They're in with the kitchen towels. If you wash them seperate you won't have any problems with lint.

Stoners - Invisible glass works great and is safe for aftermarket tint film
I use a nice bounty paper towel and don't get any residue, etc. I have used newspaper in the past, but I quit when I started having my windows tinted. |

Micro Fiber is the only way to go. I bought a bundle of 20 towels at Costco for $15.00.

Re: I hate fingerprints...
A product called Sprayaway window cleaner (it comes in a lite blue can) and crumpled up newspaper definately works the best. When I was in high school (years ago) I used to wash cars at a local filling station. I tried combinations of everything and this was the best.

Re: I hate fingerprints...
So just use any reputable brand name cleaner and either a chuck of newpaper or a microfiber cloth.
Thanks, Ill give that a try. Mitch

Re: I hate fingerprints...
Sprayaway is top drawer for a liquid glass cleaner and available at most hardware stores. Better yet, try using Fels Naptha soap as a glass wax (also said to be good for relieving Poison Ivy and it's great for de-greasing hands and clothing). Use it just like a car wax. I've heard that wiping glass with a bag full of snuff will prevent fogging.

Re: I hate fingerprints...
The guy who taught me to detail used two quality microfibres one was damp on was dry, you wipe with the damp one then again with a dry one. Most windows sparkle after that.
