Need passenger door bottom or entire door

Mine rusted out and the patch i bought doesn't fit at all so I am looking for a good patch panel out of a passenger side truck door or possibly the entire door. Don't need glass, latches, or hinges. Need complete door (67-71) to be in VA...I would pay for shipping on a patch panel. Last patch I need to finish up the body work and start mudding!

Need about 6-8" of the bottom inside part of the door

See how the patch panel isn't close to working

I will give my opinion on this , the aftermarket part's are not gonna just FIT they are just something to work with , you have enough metal there to make a CHERRY DOOR BOTTOM , good luck

I am sure that some on here have the skills to do that, but I don't so I need a good patch from a factory door on an entire door. The fabricator helping me could do it but by the time I paid him, it would make more sense to have a complete door.

That is not a hard fix at all. Even for someone with little skill. The first thing you do is tack weld an inboard area where the metal is close, then you tap the area next to it down to form fit the original panel. Then once it is close,,,,,tack it again, then repeat the next step and tap it down to form fit the next area. I bought the same replacement panels you have and all I did was work them into place. Even my 17 yr old son was amazed that I wasn't dissapointed in the initial fit. Don't waste your money on more parts. Take your time and make those work.

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

Thanks for everyone's input but I really need a replacement panel. I do not own a welder or bodywork tools. I am doing all of the work on my truck except bodywork and paint...and with that I grind everything to prep for welding, grind the welds smooth, and will be doing the majority of the sanding/blocking/mudding to keep costs down.

I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but we would need a stretcher and shrinker to fix some of the areas of metal. As said, my fab man could make this fit but after a few hours of work I can't afford to pay. I will sell this door and patch to one of you guys for cheap and you can make it fit

Really not trying to come across as rude...I just want to make it clear I will not be using this patch and will be buying a complete door or lower door patch from off a truck. Thanks!

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

How much for the door and would you be willing to just cut the bottom out and ship that to save on shipping?

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

Can you take pictures of the inner area on the door with the bad outer? I just need the lower approx 8" as seen in my picture. I can pull an exact measurement tomorrow. Thanks!

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

I've got a complete door shell. Check out the pics of the blue door. Surface rust only. Not through rust. In one pic it looks like it, but its not.

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

let me know your best price shipped, but I'm guessing shipping to 23112 will kill the deal.

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

The cheapest shipping is gonna be around $70 via greyhound. And I need to get $125 for that door. Im sure that shipping kills the deal but let me know.

Or maybe someone is headed that way and can bring it to you.

Or you can swing by and pick it up.

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

I'm honestly looking to spend 40-60 for a patch or door maximum ...already spent 40 on the one patch that didn't fit. I hope to find someone with a good inner door that has the outer door rusted or dented beyond repair. Don't need the entire door.

Re: Need passenger door bottom or entire door

That would be awesome! I'm assuming when you look in those speaker holes there's no rust on the inside...just wondering since it looks like primer on the bottom...

pm me paypal or money order info please.

Could you cut 12" from the bottom to make sure I have enough to patch in? If it's easier just cut the whole bottom off...inside and out and we'll deal with de-skinning it.
