Where to Find a Dual Fuel Tank Electric Valve?
I would like one that would let the gauge read the different tanks when switched. Also, 5/8's feeds. Thanks

You could use a tank select valve from a 80 model gm truck. They have the valve and the switch for sending units built into a single assembly. Any 84 to 87 would work. Cheers, |

Might want to PM EdB. He added a second tank in his trucvk I believe he used a valve setup from an early gen Bronco. I don't remeber if ye uses same guage or not, but he coulkd give you the answers on what he did for sure.

I got mine at Car-Quest. The valve is electric and the switch was seperate. The switch would change tanks and change the gas gauge to the tank it was on. I think the valve was like $50 and the switch was $15.

You mean you can actually AFFORD to put gas in TWO tanks? I will have to take out a small signature loan to fill up my truck. (It's bad when you have to make payments on a tank of gas....12 months at 5.25%)

My dad's 86 chevy has an electronic switch that reads the two tanks seperately depending on which one is switched on. Left and right side tanks
