Removing overspray
Hi Guys looking for some advice here, have a firewall that has good original paint on it except for one side where PO added white overspray. Anyone have any ideas for the safest way to get the overspray off ? tried green pad it took some off but I don't want to go through the original color. Was thinking of trying lacquer thinner but not sure what original paint was.
Thanks John |

Re: Removing overspray
Maybe acetone or lacquer thinner? You might try it a spot less noticeable first.

Re: Removing overspray
I have had good luck with laquer thinner on cheaper paints. It evaporates fast but if you keep it wet with a rag it will wrinkle up and wipe off

Re: Removing overspray
As said above, Reducer or laquer thinner should easily do the trick an not hurt anything.
