I'm guessing its not very fast in the quarter, a big block and 4:89 gears equals revlimiter for the last 1/8 mile.

It's tubbed and he says it has 32" tall tires and with 4.89 gears at 6000 rpm it'd be close to 120 mph with tire growth. That speed could get you roughly mid to high 10 seconds in the quarter so it would be fine.

That's cool. I imagine they came up with that ratio for a reason and it works well. Or,maybe they don't run the 1/4. My local track only runs 1/8 mile these days. I bet it gets there quick,whatever it does.
