Another general ??

Hi every body:
Can anybody tell me the difference between LB7 and LLy duramx diesel? I know chevy changed to LLY on Jan 2004, but what are the changes as far as performnace and durability goes?

LB7 engines usually will get better milage than the later LLy motor that makes more horsepower and torque,why do you ask,,,, purchasing one?

did they move the injectors so you only scrape 8 knuckles replacing them? different injectors that cost more than $500 each?
