B&M truck shifter
I received a shifter from Summit with an extra cover tonight. I ordered extra cover just in case because I will have to trim it. Shifter is just sitting there but I am having second thoughts. I gave up on the Lokar shift rod. It's unpredictable when shifting under heavy throttle and I over reved old motor few times already. I don't want to cut original carpet but ohh well. What's your opinion on this shifter.

Re: B&M truck shifter
I've got the same shifter. I'm not a big fan of slamming the auto around but sometimes it's pretty convinent even though I drive like a grandma on her way home from church. I hate the "t" handle, but I plan on changing that to a moon eyes yellow ball or something. And to wrap it up, I'm not to keen on the plastic base, but there's a fix for that somewhere too. That's my opinion. Just too '80's for me...but then again when I look out my windshield, I don't have a snarling beast of a motor to try to see around like you do! NICE!
