Dash Retaining Nuts
Does anyone know if someone makes the aftermarket retaining nuts for the headlight switch and ignition switch?

I bought an ignition key switch retaining ring from Truck and Car Shop for my 1965 C10. I can't say for sure if it's identical to OEM but it worked fine for me. They have good prices and now they have a retail outlet in Charlotte, NC.

The 64-66 is different, and should have clarified it is for a '63. I will try them though and appreciate the reference.

Travis,
I have been doing a little research this morning. I dont thing its the same as the car retainer and I think your best bet is find a used one. I ordered a ton of knobs and switches for you so lets see what actually shows up. The retainer nut (I think) looks like the 55-59 retainer but I just went out and tried it and the diameter of the threads are to small for the switch. |

You are the man, and thanks for looking into all this. I did see the 55-59 and was thinking of getting one to try, but you just saved me that trouble. Maybe the headlight one will work from the 55-59 if I can't find one. A member from the forum here messaged me and might have some of them. Gotta love this forum! |
