differental seal
My differental seal has gone bad on me and I need to replace it but I have never done it. So can anyone give me some details on the best way to accomplish this task. I know I need to remove my drive line, then the yolk. But whats the best way to do it.
Thanks JD |

Re: differental seal
I've done a few of those and it's pretty easy if you follow the manual. The hard part sometimes is getting the pinion bolt off if it's been put on by some gorilla,30 years ago. The instructions will say to hold the yoke in special tool xyz but that is if it's off the vehicle I believe. I just set the e-brake and put a pipe over a non-Chinese breaker-bar or if I'm lucky enough to have access to a compressor and impact air-wrench,no problem.
