What's it worth??
Here's a shot of my '72 Cheyenne Super at the GoodGuys Lonestar Nationals last weekend. I had several offers to buy the truck (sorry, not for sale) This prompted me to ask...if you had the cash and really wanted to buy this truck, what would you be willing to pay for it. It has a late model Vortec 350 and a 350 turbo trans, nice cloth interior, tilt, tach, and Vintage Air. Be honest, you won't offend me. I am just curious as to what it might be worth.

Nice truck! What is it worth? What ever someone will pay for it! (There is always some smart ---.) My opinion (which is not worth much) from the pics is your truck is worth $18,000 to $20,000 (small block). An original big block Cheyenne Super in the shape your truck appears to be in would be in the $22,000+ range.

Dave, you want honest?
It's been my experience that the air gets pretty thin above about 12-15 thousand dollars. I think yours would sell in that range pretty smoothly. If you ask much more than that, the tire kickers thin out considerably and the serious guys are few and far between. |
