Night shots
I took these this evening. Kept the shutter open for 64sec for most and 32 sec for a couple others. I don't know if they turned out as nice as some others I've done in the past but here ya go.

Re: Night shots
I love playing with long exposures. You get some really nice pictures when using the shutter speeds.

Re: Night shots
Thanks fellas! I shot these with a Kodak easyshare Z760. It's actually the older of my two cameras but I can keep the shutter open longer on it than I can my newer one. My newer camera is a Kodak easyshare Z712 IS. The newer camera can't keep the shutter open any longer than 16 sec (if it can I haven't figured out how yet). Craig there's nothing to it if your camera has any adjustment for the shutter speed. You just need a tripod and some time to figure out what speed is going to work for your lighting. I take a lot of bad pics to come up with the handful I share with you guys from time to time.

Re: Night shots
I am going to have to go ahead and create a "see ten" subfolder in my 67-72 Trucks subfolder. I can't just keep naming them asa25673.jpg, asa25674.jpg, etc...

Re: Night shots
I've always found that night pics look way cooler with the shutter left open longer, and these pics rule. Am I to assume that most cameras can't do this? I have a Canon S500 digital and I doubt it can do it, but if it could how would I tell?

Re: Night shots
Ok my camera says it will go from 1/1000 to 30 seconds. That is what you are talking about right?

Re: Night shots
man i always love seeing your pics, if you were closer id have to take some pics of mine, ill have to steal my brother or sisters cameras since mine isnt that great with the shutter speed thing its just got different modes to shoot in which doesnt leave that much room for playing, not to mention i need to find some good places to shoot around here

Re: Night shots
Nice pics, for sure(as usual...yawn...).But,can`t you be more careful? There must be somewhere better where there aren`t people flying around so close to you like that.
