Re: After market fenders

I would look at a junkyard first see if you can find a oem one first.

Re: After market fenders

Up here in the rust belt good oe fenders were gone 20 years ago.
It is some what rare to even see a 73-87 in the junk yards today.

Find OEM ones on Craigslist. Even here in Wisconsin rust free doors, fenders, cabs, core supports are easy to find.

Re: After market fenders

Keep an eye out on craigslist, I found a pair of solid OE fenders and doors from a truck that was being parted out privately. They are still out there on occasion. Don't be afraid of 88-91 sub parts either, There are still a few of those around.

Re: After market fenders

If you can tolerate a few small dings and chips, then there are still a lot of fenders, hoods, doors, etc. here in the desert. Check Craigslist in sunbelt cities (Phoenix, Albuquerque, Tucson, etc.). You can probably have them sent to you if you are willing to pay the freight, which would probably be expensive per piece, but still better than aftermarket junk.

Re: After market fenders

Good mark and triples are probably the two best aftermarket brands in my personal opinion. I've never heardof that particular brand. Good way to judge is to find out where they are made. Stay away from anything that feels light weight or rattles when shake or flick it. Also remember nothing fits like OEM.
