Question about running fuel lines

I bought a Blazer tank this summer and I am finally gonna install it. What is the best way to run the fuel line and how much should I need? Also what do I do about an extra hose on the tank. I think its either a evap line or a return line.
Here is a pic of what I am working with. Picked up the tank for 20 bucks.
One more Question that you may not be able to answer for me. What diameter is the filler tube that connects to the tank.

Re: Question about running fuel lines

buy a few 3 ft lengths of 3/8 brake line and a tubing bender, and a few unions. Whatever you don't use, take back when you are done.

Re: Question about running fuel lines

Not sure on the filler size, make sure the tank does not set to low in the frame. this is very important. I would purchase hard line 3/8" It should come with flared ends. Idid mine with three sections (bent it with a simple tube bender ) cut off what you don't need. I think the extra line is a vent. anyway, keep it fun & good luck! ...Pat

Re: Question about running fuel lines

I've always been curious about why there is a section of rubber hose on the fuel lines on 'Burbs and Panels. I've always just figured it was an expansion joint for some reason, but at any rate-is it needed? Is it something that might cause a problem if it's not there when a tank is moved to the rear of a truck?

Just wondering.
