Finally, pictures that show the correct color
Here are a few shots of the truck as it nears completion. A bit of a set back today though. Broke through clear while color sanding and polishing trying to get out an imperfection. Oh well, spot it in and re-clear the hood later this week. Going to change out the amber parking light lenses for clear ones.

Your truck looks awesome! Really nice color with classic wheels to set it off. ....
Oh yeah, that blue hose under the hood needs to go....

I love the color, firewalll, sill plates & stance. I do have a couple curious questions though. why have the batt on the driver side? what do you have in mind for an air cleaner.

Thanks for all the kind words.
N2TRUX: Yeah the blue hose was just a piece of fuel line I had laying around. It will be replaced with black. 68C15: Using an air filter off a C5 Corvette. Still have to get the aluminum tubing and connectors to install it. Moved battery to driver's side so the air cleaner could be routed to the passenger side where battery used to be.

ok.. I'm green.
I note, with some interest, that the passenger side of your firewall is very clean. My 68 has a rather large protrusion on that side where the heater hoses go in.

Question:
What type weather stripping did you use on the doors? Is it the original 'glue-on' type or the newer 'S-10 pinch-on' type? And where did you get it ? It look like a nice, snug fit.

mocwon,
Very nice, it's a real "clean" look. Hey, why did you relocate the battery to the driver's side? Something to do with the late model motor? I really like that color too, thinking of using something similar on the top of my suburban.
