What's it worth guys???

I have a freind that needs to sell a 71 chevy short bed Stepside. What kinda price can be put on it. It has a 350 but no trans. It is supposed to be an automatic. Pretty good shape. Might need a fender. but the rockers and cab corners seem good and the floor and cab supports are good also. I have a couple pics but really aren't all that good because of where it is parked. The down fall to this truck is it doesn't have a title. One could be gotten but it would mean paper work and about 100+ dollars.

It looks like its been a short fleet, if the frame hasnt been hacked. That nice cab and short disc brake frame would bring a pretty nice dollar here in the rust belt!

Re: What's it worth guys???

Yeah it originally came with a short fleet but it got used on a 4wd project that the previous owner had shortened and put the short fleet on. The stepbed has the wood in it also. I believe it is in good shape also. Here is some more pics. these are all I have. She told me she would like to get 1500 out of it. Guess I would need to put on the classifieds ad part but was curious if it would be worth the time.

If the engine runs, maybe up to $1,000

Same here. I'd want to hear it run first (if I were a potential buyer) but it looks to be a ways off from that... so I'd probably offer 800 if I was looking into buyin it. Bring it up to Southwest NY and you'd get at least 1,500 up to 2K out of it. My opinions.

I love it when people say, oh only a little bit of work and you have a title. I'd say with a title I'd give 800
