Can't remember if the front reservior serves the back brakes or verse visa... anyone know for sure?

On my 70...The rear serves the front, and front to the rear. I am told that the C20s do front-front rear-rear.
I'd be curious to know if it really matters.

reason why I ask is cuz I'm losing fluid from the rear reservior and I can't tell where it's going... it could very well be draining into the power brake booster... nice...

usually if you're losing fluid from the rear reservoir, it's going into the front reservoir. Which might not sound too bad, but what it means is the seal between the two has gone south. Time to replace the master cylinder. I recently bought a new (not remanufactured) one from NAPA for about $35.

it doesn't appear as tho fluid is going to the front reseervior, since it's also losing fluid, but not as fast as the rear.... I think I'll pull it and look down into the brake booster, pretty sure that's where it's going...

On my '68 C-10 the master cylinder is front-front and rear-rear.

Its probably leaking into to booster. Does the brake peddle drift away from your foot, while sitting at a stop light?

no, doesn't seem to be fading at all... I'll know a lot more once I get it un-bolted from the booster...

I only replaced the cylinder on my truck little over a week ago.
It was leaking fluid also from the rear resevoir. Mine leaked between the booster and the cylinder itself.
On my C/20 the rear resevoir goes to the front disc brakes.
