hood alignment...

My hood rubs on the cowln when I open it. What bolts control this movement? Should I try and move the hood, or the cowl? I messed around a bit with the cowl and it really didnt want to move any futher back, all those screws keep it in place even when I loosen the 4 bolts. Any suggestions?

Are they at the same height? If they arent then they open on different planes. If they are the same height try moving the hood forward by loosing the 4 bolts that connect the hood to the hinges.

If you end up moving your hood forward, you may need to move the latch post back to compensate.
