I work with pneumatics at work. We use the same polyline and onetouch fittings used for airbag systems. The cutters are nice as long as they are sharp, but they are not critical. The important thing is that you make a clean 90 degree cut. We don't hesitate to use razor blades on polyline. They can make just as clean a cut as the cutters or better. It's pretty funny how much the air-ride companies charges for those cutters, line, and fittings IMO.

Used a box knife on my car and my buddys f150 and a (new) pipe cutter like you use for copper tubbing on my truck worked nice.
