67 c-10 stepside
Hello everyone I've been on the site for years just lurking around! I've seen some pretty cool truck builds over time. I never really post much but this year my grandfather passed away and left my dad his 67 chevy. In 67 grandpa used it as his company truck. He then bought it from his company sometime later. It's been sitting for years in Texas where grandpa was from! My younger brother (gear head ) got it running last year right before grandpa got sick. This year has really been a tough one, but we as a family want to bring her home and cherish her. She's a little rough but nothing that can't be fixed!
Here is a picture I took last November Posted via Mobile Device

Looks like a great truck. Nothing like preserving part of your family and the memories by bringing back an old vehicle. Some simple advice for working on trucks with lots of "needs", just do something to it every day. No matter how small, the effort adds up and eventually the truck is finished. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Re: 67 c-10 stepside
The truck is stock. The only thing that was changed was the motor. Grandpa rebuilt the 327 years ago. I can't remember the mileage he said it had. He said it wouldn't much though. My uncle used to ride it before the build but only he would know more about it. The interior was done about six years ago I was there when we picked it up from the shop. It needs a paint job. It's gone through three paint jobs it was green from factory, white then black. I kind of want to stick with the black since the interior is Maroon/Red.
