Some young guy with a 62 GMC
Hey everyone, I'm 22, Ive been lurking on this forum for a while… I am inspired by the amazing craftsmanship of the builds here! So since i have a few little plans for my own, i thought id start a thread. So i have always wanted an old truck.. I bought myself a 63 Chevy last summer, turns out it needed a whole new cab/frame or MAJOR money to get it into drivable condition.. So i sold it to a guy who had the funds to fix it, saved mine up and found this beauty.
She's a 1962 GMC Longbed, SBW, Original 305 V6, 4 on the floor. This truck was originally an Arizona truck, was then brought to pennsylvania, then imported to Alberta. Plans for spring: Tires/rims. Other than that.. drive and show it! Looking for stock looking tires/rims…. Any ideas/pics of yours, would be awesome to see! Thanks for looking! |

Re: Some young guy with a 62 GMC
Thanks everyone! The only real plan i have for it at the moment is tires/rims.. the front tires are bald.. and since I'm replacing the tires, id like to get the older rally rims and stock GMC hubcaps while I'm at it. Any tires you guys recommend that look stock or similar? Sizing?
