A/C Fittings
Does anyone have a lead where to buy A/C MIO fittings that don't cost 4 of my toes and 2 fingers?
It's odd that Vintage Air has no MIO? (Proline) fittings on their site but Summit has them all. Way too pricey at $36 to $44 EACH. And stainless hose at $24 a foot? This makes it about $800 to run my a/c lines! I remember not that long ago most fittings were 3 or 4 bucks each and hose was 24 bucks for 10 feet. I used to walk 10 miles to get to school too. hehehe Yes, I'm getting cheap after spending half my house on this truck! |

It's all expensive, I can tell you that unless you buy the crimper/dies too don't buy the reduced barrier hose as a regular run of the mill hose crimper won't do the smaller stuff.

Re: A/C Fittings
That's why I plan on going with the reusable fittings. It's a shame these companies take advantage of builders. Before it became a thing that's mega popular, all these parts were cheap. Remember Yuill Brothers speed shops? Then came Supershops, then come all these other places that take advantage of the buyers....IMO

Re: A/C Fittings
Has anyone used and had any problems with this compressor adapter? I need my lines pointing to the rear of the H6 compressor rather than the front.
