Looking for ORIGINAL 1968 GMC 2500 information
I have not been able to find on the internet any information regarding the original paint jobs these trucks had. I have found random pictures claiming to be unmolested trucks but they all vary. If there is somewhere that I can be point to clear this up for me.
I want to paint my truck in the next week or so and want to paint it to an original color scheme. Wanting to stick with the cardinal red (kind of red orange) and go with the white on top of the cab but can't decide where exactly it should start on the rear of the cab. I have seen a SS trim piece that runs a couple inches below the rear window but again, no real literature or photos of what is stock. Any help would be great! Jake |

Post a color code or a clear shot of the SPID inside the glove box. Any of these colors look right? The two-tone paints have different GM codes than on this chart.
